camera history

 1. Greek and Chinese philosophers discovered a new optical effect. They made a hole through the wall and the light made an image appear on the opposite wall.It became known as "camera obscura" which means "dark room".

2. when Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding of optics and and the process of making high quality glass lenses.

3.A glass lens,a dark box,and film.

4.Light passes through the lens, into the camera, and exposes the film.

5.An electronic sensor called a CCD.

Camera Modes:

6. Auto controls the flash and exposure. In Program you can control the flash and other camera settings.

7.To attempt to blur out the background. You use it by the available high F- stop (aperture) settings.

8. To freeze motion with a highest shutter speed possible.

9. It helps you by telling the camera that you're ready to take the picture. It gives you full Focus and Faster full -press response.

10. It means there is no flash. Its used when the mood of the photograph can be more dramatic by just the natural light.

11. The second symbol means the flash will go automatically if the camera thinks the picture needs more light. You might want to use where there is dark parts.

12.The picture can be washed-out if it has too much light.

13. If the picture doesn't have that much light it might appear dark.

14.A "Stop" is a relative measurement of light.
